Boules or Bocce
A New Community Volunteer Committee has been formed in conjunction with our
Twain Harte Community Service Department. The Committee, headed by Gary
Sipperley, will work on developing both
Bocce and
Boules
Courts at Eproson Park. The Bocce Courts will be in conjunction with the
Twain Harte Golf Club and geared primarily for adult participation.

The Boules Courts will be located adjacent to the Skate Board Park and
developed with family participation in mind. It is hopeful that development
of one or both will get under way some time this summer. We will keep you
posted. If you would like to help in the development or construction in some
way, please contact Melinda Boyer at the CSD office, 209-586-3172.
Here-We-Go-Whirl
We
may have grown up knowing them as merry-go-rounds. Seems like everything has
a new name these days but regardless, even with the now required safety
governor on the speed, kids of all ages are excited about the new Whirl
(merry-go-round) that has been installed at the Eproson Park Playground. It
took a while mainly because the old one was encased in one heck of a lot of
concrete. Many thanks to all those who again contributed donations for
Eproson Park.

TWAIN HARTE COMMUNITY PROJECTS

courts is still underway. The State grant funding application for the
Community Center improvements is still being reviewed by the State.
The following is our ambitious
list of projects for this year (as well as others). Were looking forward
to a lot of work this spring/summer/fall. Your volunteer help is always

Letter from the President
John Kinsfather
Twain Harte Homeowners is made up of a volunteer nine member Board that
represents over 800 Twain Harte Homeowners. Its primary purposes are to keep
our membership informed of developments and happenings that affect Twain
Harte, to initiate projects for the benefit of the community, and to support
both physically and monetarily the efforts of other community organizations
that are for the good of Twain Harte.
Directly your Board has two representatives on the Partners for Twain
Harte Board, and a representative on the Twain Harte Design Review Board.
Indirectly it has two members on the Twain Harte CSD Board, a member on the
board of the Sonora Area Foundation and a member that has been an active
volunteer of TH Community Service Unit for over seven years.
All of your Board members work diligently to preserve and maintain the
beauty of Twain Harte. Our efforts are strongly supported by a legion of
community members and volunteers.
We are an open organization and we encourage our membership to join us in
helping to preserve our community. We further encourage you to contact us at
any time and to forward to us any questions, concerns or suggestions that
you may have for keeping Twain Harte a better place to live.
